Not From Here...

Since I am a Reverend, I often think about religions, temples etc. Most of all I think about faith, beliefs and truth.

Faith is about believing without questioning. Without searching for proves, collecting evidence etc. That’s the essence of any faith.

Believe is something what we have accepted as ours and is based on knowledge, experience and social conditions. Believes are subject to change – as we grow older, become wiser (hopefully) and more experienced we do have tendencies to adjust or change our beliefs. Quite often changing our beliefs is healthy and allows us to alter our lives for the better.

When it comes to the Truth, it is completely different ball game. Truth is unchangeably and no-man-made. It comes from the Universe and no one can influence it. In the presence of the Truth, beliefs become irrelevant.

Faith comes to us from the Universe, hence there is no way to trace its origin. There is no way to trace the source, since It is the source. In order to exercise our Faith and celebrate it together people have created religions. Unfortunately as most things, what originated with good intentions, eventually became corrupted. Over time religions changed to fit the purpose and convenience of a few, over the masses. Then they began to fight who is better and higher. It is sad that the main concept, which was supposed to bring people together, is actually causing to disunite them more and more. It is also sad because something that came from above should always be kept beyond our Earthly misconceptions.

I do believe that we, humans, will come to some kind of agreement about Faith and religion. My belief is that we will have one religion system allowing people to express their Faith in very personal, unique way. Maybe not in the temple as we know them today, maybe in a very private settings of our homes. When we will come to the point of truly comprehending the concept that there is only one source of everything and that this source is the creative power of all, temples as we know them today will seize to exist. Priests, pastors and reverends as religions positions will disappear, since everyone will understand and exercise his and her own connection with the Source, the Creator, knowing that It is always there to help and create what is needed and desired by each of us.

It sounds like a fairy tale now, I know. But – if you believe in extraterrestrials and their advanced civilizations, you may know that there is no organized religion anywhere else but on our planet. I know that we are the youngest civilization and there is a lot of work and growing ahead of us, but if they could come to this point, so can we. Some day… Maybe what we do today by expressing our desires is a small, but important road block in building this future for generations to come? I am not sure of course, but I think we should keep our Faith in the Source and in the fact that what came to us from heaven (and by that I mean cosmos, not heaven filled with angels etc.) will become universal and uniting again. I have Faith in You and me, in our morality and ethics, and that we will come to a common sense
