Emptiness

Easter time has passed. Even though in many countries, parts of the Earth and societies this holiday is not celebrated, I do believe that the concept is not totally strange. Also the theme of this celebration, which is – as far as I know -present in all the believe systems, made me come back to it and share my thought with you.

Emptiness – during the celebration of Easter Mass we begin with an empty church, no lights since Christ is dead, hence the lights are gone. Upon the resurrection, consequently, the light appears again. Resurrection and rejoicing with the Spirit. A beautiful concept and, as I said before, common to all believe systems even though celebrated and conducted in many different ways and forms.

To me the most important part of one particular aspect of emptiness is in which we – when you think about it – experience more often then we would like to. It is emptiness in our hearts. This form of emptiness is a foundation of all sickness’ we experience and must deal with. Emptiness in heart means the absence of love. This amazing organ is more like an instrument then an organ to me. It sets the vibrational standard for our whole energetic system. It works without any rest from around the 50-tieth day after our conception to the very, very end of our earthly existence. Never stops, never takes a break, unless…

When we are not able to generate love, feel empty, lost, alone and in despair, we say that we are in a “dark place”, since there is no light to follow and to utilize to regenerate ourselves. The heart is empty and we do not know how to get back on our path, which is: to the light. That would be the spiritual aspect of it in nutshell.

On the other hand, from a physics point of view, the smallest unit of light (particles, atoms, photons or still debatable quarks, depending on how low or how deep one wants to go) is the building block of our body; in a physical and meta-physical sense, of course. Therefore if we will, by any circumstances or event, loose or lack these blocks, we will be dwelling into darkness, the absence of light. That is the perfect environment for sickness to appear and develop. When this state remains for a long period of time, sickness becomes deeper and stronger, hence harder to defeat. If it reaches our heart, we –in addition to a particular sickness– develop an emotional and spiritual hardship leading to depression, frustration and abstraction of love for others and ourselves. Inability to generate love from our heart causes an inability to receive and experience love from others. It creates a vicious circle, which we are unable to sort out and get out of.

Emptiness in the heart is one of the most common factors of any given sickness on each and every level of our existence. Our heart should not be empty for any period of time. If we think it is, it should be the very first, primal problem to address. How? I guess the best way is turn to your family or friends for help, even if we do not feel like it. Therapists of all modalities of Alternative Medicine are trained to address the emotional and the spiritual aspects of a treated condition first, so maybe that’s the way to go. It is very much an individual choice – what one feels more confortable with. To summarize we can say that empty heart is a recipe for disaster!

Let’s then use all opportunities, either though celebrating “our” holidays or someone else’s, to celebrate them through our hearts to spread the love and light, to build the light frame work for all to be better, healthier and happier!

All the best to all!
