Water

Water is an essential part of our life. Even our governments recognize it; hence water is never cut off if for some reason you couldn’t pay the bill. It is interesting though how –sometimes in some situations – we are cut off from water by nature itself. It happened to me! The pipes froze due to this severe weather and I have not had water for a week already and by the looks of it, this will continue for some time. Until the weather will be have some mercy on me. Apparently in my circumstance the plumber cannot do anything, since he has no access to unlock the key to the main pipe. So – time is all I need. Can you imagine – camping in the middle of winter?

According to my philosophy that there is a spiritual reason for all that happens to us regardless of which level of our existence it appears, I began to think. Water is an element, water means flowing and allowing. Which one of those two? Maybe both! Why? Fear? If so - of what? Self-restrictions? Why?

I will not bore you with many different spins it took me. I would rather use this case as an example of how we can get something out of every situation that presents itself. To me, one of the most annoying things in life is a scenario, when I cannot do anything to solve the problem. Patience is not my biggest virtue. And, on the top of that, I am an engineer; my thing is to solve problems! So – maybe it happened to allow me to practice patience? However it sounds like a stretch, I must consider that one as well.

Do you approach life’s problems from this point of view as well? I would like you to share with me – and maybe others, if you allow me to quote you – how do you analyze your problems. I am truly interested.
