Tuaregas’ cross – from the times of uncountable quests of African tribes in search of new living areas. The cross, similarly to Amerindian totems, is a symbol and an amulet that serves as a guard, protecting against all unknown, incomprehensible and dangerous. A significant role is played by its magic power, of the protecting shield, that saves from superstition fears, curses and spells cast by medicine men using VOO-DOO practices. The cross-worn on oneself ensures safety, helps to avoid unwanted surprises, and increases self-confidence.
