Religions & us

Everyone believes in something. I have written about that quite a few weeks ago, but this time I would like to talk with you about how do we express our faith.

There are many believe systems all over the world today. It all started with animism, which was based on a very simple principle that there is no difference between life forms neither on a physical nor on a non-physical level.

According to my belief, at the beginning of time humans were more connected to the energy of the universe and had a deeper understanding of it.

To oversimplify the process let’s say it was like this:

At the beginning, our very first ancestors knew that there is one power creating everything, however there was also a lack of comprehension of how this power can possibly work to create everything and everyone. It was easier to grasp the concept by “chopping” the power into smaller pieces. So people called different aspects of energy differently: one was responsible for fertility of people (or animals), others were for harvest and another for rain and so forth…

As humans began to develop their Earthly physicality and established themselves more in a 3D reality, our conscious connection with the universe started to decrease and with it we felt a deeper need to personify those aspects of divine, so we could imagine them, befriend them, cooperate with them. Faith was not enough anymore… We began to worship them. So we have created deities, gods and goddesses. How? By giving them similar forms to ours, with just far more power then us, mortals. By the same token we gave our power away to those imaginary entities. Time was passing and people became more mobile, and ventured out, and as a result they became connected with other groups of people, in other parts of the world and have realized that those other people’s beliefs are almost the same, but expressed differently. Instead of being curious, accepting and tolerating, we began to kill those, who did not share “my believes”. Here is how we arrived to religion systems, to religion wars, crusades etc. The apogee of that period was darkest and the bloodiest time in our history – Medieval time finished with Inquisition.

In a nutshell as I did it, it may sound very simplified and fairy tale like comparing to the true nature of our past. But I have spent a lot of time discussing this topic with my friends from the above. They admit that they are having a hard time justifying what we do in that respect, but they do their best to help me understand that the main problem is this: what comes from the universe cannot be applied directly in flat, 3D reality. Their appreciation of us, humans make them speak and advise to and through many of us (through either channeling or automatic writing, which normally is the beginning stage of channeling) that there is no true difference between religion systems. That if we can create a common markets and common currency – which is also challenging due to the cultural and economic differences – we can either unify humanity by creating a common believe system, which supposed to be based on common elements of all systems, rather then one dominating the rest, or learn to truly accept multi-religion systems. I do not know which version is possible and doable; I am afraid that in todays reality –none.

What came from heaven must stay divine. We do need to hear those whose connection is stronger, so we can learn and understand more and get closer to divine, but we do not need to fight. Faith should be extremely personal and sacred. None of the religions is better or higher, they all in a sense suppress our abilities to connect with divine on an individual level.

Christianity is still the biggest system converging 31.5% of world population, followed by Islam with 23.2%. Pope John Paul Second began a cross-religion discussion – will we continue or would we rather continue killing ourselves “in the name of faith”? It often looks to me as though we are still at a kindergarten level in respect to honoring and following Creator.

What are your thoughts on that?
